OK, i've done it! I got a stamp from Jane and posted the forms!
I rang the organisers to find out if anyone else has booked on the trip and they told me I'd be lucky 13! It's an open trek with other charities and I'm the only one raising money for HD booked on it so far.
My friend has a hall for 20th September that I could probably have 1/2 price so I texted everyone on my phone to ask who may be interested in a disco/party. Some people said they'd come but not enough to make it worthwhile unfortunately.
I rang the lady about the Warren for the disco and they told me there are only 2 Fridays left available this year. It's a popular place! I couldn't get it free but may get it half price. I'd have to book it now, and it feels like a bit of a pressure.
Jane sent me lots of other fundraising ideas.
