Boot Sale

I now have £1,275! I've sold some tickets for the party and quite a few people have said they want to come.

I'll feel better when I've actually sold more but I'm pretty certain it's going to be a great success.

I've been jogging only once lately and I went for an hour walk with Molly next door (lovely 11 year old who was great company).

I'm really concentrating on fundraising and am feeling that I can pick up the training in a while when I've got the foundations in place for my fundraising.

I was thinking that it would be a good idea to get a 'chocolate mountain' next to the chocolate fountain and have written to various chocolate companies begging them for some free chocolate.

I've also written to some companies (like John Lewis, Diggerland, Chessington, Argos etc) to see if I can get some raffle / auction items. I need to do more of that when I have a bit more time free.

I am collecting stuff for a bootsale, hoping to do that next sunday or the sunday after. Any bootsale donations are welcome. Thanks !

I want to thank everyone who is helping me with this project. Be it donating, forwarding the info onto friends, giving me stuff for raffle/bootsale, moral support, selling party tickets, dj-ing, choc fountain, inviting me to speak at meetings etc. giving me fundraising ideas, and just for being there for me. WOW !
