Bootsale

Carole kindly helped me with the boot sale this morning and we made another £115 towards the target.

I set my alarm wrong this morning and I was just getting up at 6.45 when Carole was knocking at the door! Ooops. It all went well once we got there though and it was a beautiful day. We were lucky to have a lovely spot facing the sunshine.

I picked up the blackjack table this afternoon from Adam and his parents not only bought 30 tickets for the party, but also gave me a £200 donation! Amazing, it's the first time I've ever met them! A big thanks to the family and to Angie, Richard's friend, who organised it all! AWESOME !!!!

The party tickets are flying and I've only got about 20 left. They will soon go because I still have a list of people who say they want to come.

It's all so unbelievable.

On another note, I had a client on Friday who came to me for Reflexology because she has anxiety and it turns out that her brother has been diagnosed with Huntington's Disease. She told me that no-one has ever heard of it. They didn't know their Dad had it because he died of Cancer. She was nothing short of GOBSMACKED when I told her about my family. She has never met anyone else who's had first-hand experience of it and I have put her in touch with the HDA. She had told me that I am a lifeline for her and I'm just glad the Association exists and that she and her family can now get the support they desperately need. I thank the universe for bringing her to me:-)
