On Saturday I went out walking with my friend Owen. We only meant to do 5 hours but mis-timed it and ended up doing 6 hours!
We walked to Cudham and back. The weather was very random; one minute it was sunny, the next windy, the next it was chucking down hailstones that were stinging our faces.
I really enjoyed the walk and Owen was great company. We walked really fast in the last hour as I had to get home for a client. I made it with only 10 minutes to spare!
Carolyn has been giving my legs a really good massage on a regular basis, and I'm so grateful to her for that.
I had a couple of donations as a result of my article in The Bromley Borough News so I'm really pleased about that. It also raises awareness too. The donations were from people who know or knew someone with HD.
This Saturday I'm walking with a lady who is training for a trek in Cuba in October, raising money for the HDA. She did the China Trek in 2002 so we'll have a lot to talk about. Her sister and nephew have HD.
