Walking in the snow
This week the gym isn't open early because of the snow so I have been out walking instead. This morning I put on my ski trousers and thermals and went out at 7.30am in the snow and ice! If that's not dedication, what is?
My Father, Auntie and two of my brothers died because of Huntington's Disease.
The Huntington's Disease Association has been a great support to me and my family but is struggling for funding and has had to let some of its much needed careworkers go. I wanted to help by raising awareness and funds for the families who are still suffering and to help find a cure for this terrible disease.
After completing a trek on the Great Wall of China last year and raising over £10,000 I decided that if I wanted to raise even more money, I would have to have an even greater challenge. So now I've signed up to climb the world's tallest free-standing mountain - KILIMANJARO !
